James Driessen is a skilled subrogation litigator and currently serves as Inhouse Counsel for PurCo Fleet Services Inc. He began his career driving for his father's petroleum jobbership with Phillips 66, Namekagon Oil, for 5 years in Northern Wisconsin. He then served 6 years as a bio‐containment level 4 technician for the United States Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases, Fort Detrick, Maryland and another 6 years as a civilian for the National Institutes of Health also in Maryland. James went back to school and earned his B.S. degree in Engineering at the University of Maryland, and MBA and Juris Doctorate from Brigham Young University. He ran a solo practice law firm including personal injury representation for 10 years. James joined PurCo in 2012 and has since become an industry expert applying collateral source doctrine, loss of use, and diminished value to maximize damage recovery for large and small companies in the transportation industry.
