Sustainability Program Administrator | Clark County, NV

Sam Baker has worked in the field of sustainability in local government for over 10 years. She holds bachelor’s degrees in environmental studies and sociology from Florida State University and master’s degree from Florida Atlantic University in sociology.  Recently, she managed a regional water conservation program, where she expanded the program to connect the topics of climate change and sustainability to water resources. Sam is now the Sustainability Program Administrator for Clark County, NV. She manages sustainability efforts, including implementing a sustainability plan for county operations, as well as community-wide planning efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and increase resiliency. Her strengths include project and contract management, community outreach, and strengthening partnerships.
